I purchased this brasier as my go-to pot for daily meals that involve frying and sauteeing and it's been a dream. I've used it for a variety of meals, none of them involve braising at all. It's great for sautéing vegetables, frying tofu, baking cardamom rolls, stir-frying noodles, and making just about everything else you use a frying pan for. Just be sure to use enough oil (or deglaze as required) to make clean-up a breeze. I've needed some elbow grease (and heating it up with water at the bottom) to get it clean a few times (particularly after a gnocchi & Brussels sprouts dish) but it's always come out looking brand new. I'd highly recommend this beautiful, quality product for a lifetime of cooking. I leave it out on the stove all the time because it's so nice to look at and matches my decor.

I like the shallow Le Creuset braiser as it provides a large surface to initially cook meat, fish or veggies and then I can braise for a shorter amount of time.
Le Creuset pots are always of the highest quality. I already had several of them. The only disadvantage is that the inside gets discolored after a time and it has proved impossible to restore the original color. I am very pleased with the latest addition to my collection. I only wish that Le Creuset made smaller versions of this pot.
I have coveted a Le Creuset pan for years and it has not disappointed. It looks fantastic (blueberry color is amazing) and cleans easily. It is a huge step up from standard cast iron cookware.
I haven't used the Brassier yet! However it was delivered in perfect condition. I am looking forward to cooking my first meal using it. I bought this size to cook meals for 2 and at the moment (Covid times) there are 4 of us hence the wait to use.
