Royal Doulton Countess Spencer Figurine

Countess Spencer was the last piece produced in the Reynolds Ladies series. Her portrait was painted in 1782 after her marriage to the second Earl of Spencer.

This beautiful collection of four prestigious, limited edition figures is a tribute to these two traditions, bringing together the portraits of Joshua Reynolds and the ceramic artistry of Royal Doulton. The collection, first introduced in 1991 in a limited edition of 5,000; required considerable dedication, research and commitment to transform the subjects of four Reynolds portraits into figures.
