The knives themselves are great. Just a bit disappointing to see that the knife block has more slots than knives provided in the set. I suppose I assumed there would a slot for each knife but it seems the knife blocks are universal. Something I wish I would have noticed prior to making the purchase. But in terms of quality, can't be beat. We've had henckels for over a decade and simply wanted a new set even though the old knives are still as sharp as ever. Great purchase.

This set is of great value ! Knives cut very well with little resistance like they should! Bought this set to replace my Cutco knives which I had poor cutting experience.
