Staub's Skillet is made of cast iron and is therefore especially suitable for searing meats. Steaks, fillets and other cuts of meat quickly form a delicious crust and remain juicy inside. It can also be used for many other foods and you can cook vegetables or pancakes in it. With cast iron, the heat is distributed quickly to the edges, so that the entire contents of the pan are cooked evenly.
Staub Skillets are enamelled in matt black on their inner sides. This coating makes food even more flavourful because the enamel enhances the natural flavour.
